Great fun to pass the time... 4 out of 5
When I first started playing this I thought it was the dumbest thing around. But, it became really addictive and fun as the levels got harder and harder.
The premise is that granny is walking around trying to collect her kitties. Obstacles begin to crop up as the levels progress. There is a Tiki man that pummels Granny. Eventually this turns into a bad robot kitty and monkeys. You can escape the enemies by digging a hole or getting them to fall into a pit of slime or a killer tomato plant.
I know, it all sounds really weird but it is a lot of fun! And hard to walk away from.
My kids like it and my son (age 10) likes to build his own levels.
Fun game with amusing voice and cute graphics 5 out of 5
For a game of this type Granny is a winner. It's fun to play whether you only have a few minutes to kill or an entire afternoon to spend. There are a lot more levels than I expected when I bought the game for $1, I'm up to level 108 and it's pretty frenetic with new foes and traps every so often. It's easy to lose track of time when playing and I sometimes find I've stayed up too late which is a good thing overall. I've had more fun playing this game than from several more expensive store-bought games. It's very family-friendly so if you have kids they can play it for hours without you having to worry about violence or bad language. *Edit* I finally finished this game - it took awhile to complete all 173 levels because some levels are so frustrating and so many enemies at once it was hard to do. I was stuck at level 169 for a long time so I assumed that was the last level, it just seemed impossibly tricky but with enough failures I managed to move on. I was a bit disappointed that the 'finale' was just another letter from Granny but it was still worth it. Maybe now I can stop playing until they add more levels.
Simple but Cute 3 out of 5
This reminds me of Mario and the minis, only its Granny and her kitties, and of course the graphics aren't as good. But for a buck who can beat it? Its a fun little game and passes the time!
Does not play 1 out of 5
I really wanted to play this game with my son. Went to run file and the game starts up and then my monitor says it is " out of range" changed settings changed it to run with XP etc. For my monitor "out of range" is too high a refresh rate, and I cant imagine that this game is so high tech that it uses over a 60 refresh rate. I have all the system requirments and yet I havent seen this game play yet. Game does have an email support and I am waiting to hear back from them. Furthermore, if I am unable to play it I want a refund and so far I haven't found where to even ask for that yet.
Bottom line, from my experience, this game is probably better left alone, if you try I hope you have better luck than I did!!
